children and adults with special needs

our ultimate goal...

We want people of all levels of abilities to know they are image bearers of God and a valued member of the body of Christ by  making the Gospel easily accessible.

What to expect on Sunday Morning...

God has made each one of us in His image and is the author of life. The Church body doesn't function well when one part is missing.

We want you and your special needs child or adult to know you are valuable, loved, safe, and seen by both God and us.

Our weekly special needs programs are designed to be fun, and engaging with well trained and caring volunteers who are passionate about our .

...there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together."

A Special Needs Playground

Our new playground has level and safe spaces for mobile and wheelchair-bound friends. It provides covered areas for shade and comfort, inclusive swings, sensory objects, and benches for guests to rest and enjoy watching their loved ones have fun!

- June, parent of special needs children

"There are few places that a family with special needs children can let their guard down. At Rich Fork my children are loved and valued. Everyone who volunteers wants to be with these children and show God's love to those the world doesn't value. "

- Local special needs parent

"Families with special needs children have to fight for everything. Even things we need. But the church is giving us a playground without even asking. I'm speechless."

Image Bearers

Throughout Scripture, the Lord shows us His heart and His view of each of us, with whatever level of ability we have. Every member of the body of Christ has tremendous value.

Special needs children, students, and families are always welcomed and included in our church body and community.

Our hope is for Rich Fork Church to be a place that welcomes, invites, and creates spaces of belonging for those of all levels of abilities so the Gospel can be accessible for all people.

We want to remove the barriers that may distract and discourage special needs families from being a vital part of the Church and growing in their faith.

Kelly James

family ministries director | contact

"The Lord uses our children just as much as He uses adults. He placed tremendous value on them and we should do nothing less. We are called to faith like a child, which means we have a great deal to learn from them. Every adult needs to be reminded what childlike faith looks like and that faith needs to be cultivated."
